This week I don't talk a lot, I am still shocked that Blixa, my friend Sluggo's four year old boy, was diagnosed with Leukemia. When I do talk it's a call to action. What's the point of a catch phrase like "punks unite" if we don't actually do it. All proceeds of everything listed goes to the family's fight.

We celebrated NYE with an all vinyl show. Happy New Year, don't go and get yourself indefinitely detained in 2012. Also our friend LJ from Evil Ted has his bday bash on Fri. AK folks gotta come out for the OOOOOLD school.

I play punk Christmas songs. I disappoint local listens by not being there to take their calls. My kid helped me break the news to them. I promised to be back new years eve with an exciting all vinyl show and lots of give aways. It's to be seen if that was actually the truth.

I play some music, I try to get people to donate to our radio promotion to benefit foster teens. Fun was had by up to 10 people, maybe 11.

Yep the show that followed Thanksgiving and Black Friday ... I probably should have played more Black Flag, oh well, hind sight and whatnot ... anyway some good tunes in here, we got your HC, Street, Melodic, Pop (the good kind) etc etc. I'd ask you to go to my facebook but you won't do it so TOSS OFF.

Try not to be a pain in my ass.

This show landed on my Birthday, there were bands playing in a space above a strip club. I must have set a record for going to a strip club and not seeing strippers. Typically I could give a rat's ass about my birthday but Men with Guns are friends and I love them in the dirtiest of ways so I used the show to get people out and play everything I wanted to hear ... that last part I pretty much do every week. Cheers!

Another punk rock show, since you probably haven't turned on a radio in years I'll give you a little tidbit ... it's one of the few punk shows that broadcasts beyond the neighbors lawn from mom's basement and we don't play commercial music.
